Greek officials meet with ministers regarding Florina and Tempi

In Greece, local officials held meetings with government ministers to address regional development and administrative needs.

Florina Mayor Vasilis Giannakis met with Foreign Minister Giorgos Geropetritis to discuss the municipality’s role as a cross-border hub. The discussions focused on leveraging Florina’s strategic location for tourism, economic development, and enhanced cooperation with neighboring countries through cross-border initiatives and cultural ties.

Separately, Tempi Mayor Giorgos Manolis met with Deputy Minister of Interior Vivi Charalampogianni to discuss municipal operations. The meeting centered on the urgent need for permanent staff and effective human resource management to ensure the large, geographically extensive municipality can adequately serve its citizens.
