Greek Orthodox Calendar Highlights July 10 Saints

The Greek Orthodox liturgical calendar for July 10 commemorates a group of historic saints and martyrs. The day includes the 45 Armenian martyrs of Nicopolis, who suffered persecution under the Roman governor Lysias in the early 4th century. It also honors Saints Parthenios and Euemenios, brothers who rebuilt the Monastery of Koudouma in southern Crete during the 19th century, and New Martyr Joseph of Damascus, a 19th‑century Lebanese‑born priest who directed the Patriarchal School of Damascus and translated key liturgical works into Arabic. Additionally, Saint Anthony of Esphigmenitis is remembered.
