Orthodox Church commemorates saints on July 29‑30
The Orthodox Church marks July 29 with the memory of Saint Theodotus (also listed as Theodotes, Theodoti) and Saint Callinicus of Cilicia, both early Christian martyrs.
On July 30 the Church honors five of the Seventy Apostles: Saints Silas, Silouanos, Epainetos, Kreskis and Andronikos, together with Saint Julitta of Caesarea. The commemorations are described in Greek liturgical calendars, which list the names and give brief hagiographic notes about their missionary work and martyrdoms.
These saint‑days are observed in Greece and among Orthodox communities, with the dates also noted as the International Day of Friendship and the World Day Against Human Trafficking.
