Greek Orthodox celebrations on June 6 across Kythnos and Diavatos Himathias

On Saturday 6 June, the Greek Orthodox Church marked the feast of All Saints with an evening service in the historic church of Kythnos (Paradeisi). Metropolitan Nathaniel of Kythnos and Nisyros led the liturgy, accompanied by senior clergy and local officials. The service was followed by a traditional fair that drew hundreds of worshippers and visitors, with live music and expanded parking to accommodate the crowd.

Later that day, at the Holy Church of Saints Constantine and Helen in Diavatos Himathias, a seniors‑and‑clergy‑mothers conference was held as part of the annual L.B. Pauli programme. Metropolitan Pantaleimon of Veroia, Naousa and Campania celebrated the Divine Liturgy, delivered a sermon, and commemorated deceased elders. The forum, themed “Re‑baptism of the priestly family,” featured talks on Orthodox communities in Turkey and the ritual renewal of clergy families, concluding with a communal meal for participants.
