Greek Orthodox Church celebrates saints on May 12‑13

The Greek Orthodox liturgical calendar marks May 12 with the commemoration of Saint Epiphanius, a 4th‑century bishop of Salamis in Cyprus, and Saint Theodorus, also venerated in Cyprus. Their lives are celebrated for theological defense of Orthodoxy and monastic leadership.

The following day, May 13, the Church honors Saint Glykeria, a 2nd‑century martyr celebrated for her steadfast faith under Roman persecution, and Saint Sergius the Confessor, a later saint recognized for his confession of faith. Both dates are highlighted in ecclesiastical almanacs and observed with prayers and hymns.
