Greek Orthodox Church commemorates saints on June 7 and June 8

On Sunday, 7 June, the Orthodox liturgical calendar honors the memory of All Saints, Saint Zenaida the Wonderworker, Saint Panagiotes of Kefalonia, Saint Sevastiani the Wonderworker and a long list of historic saints.

The following day, Monday, 8 June, the Church observes the translation of the holy relics of Saint Theodoros Stratelatos, a revered early‑Christian martyr, together with the commemorations of Saint Calliope, Saint Theophanes the New Martyr, and Saint Nautkratis, among others. These daily entries form part of the Greek Orthodox tradition of marking saints and their relics each year.
