Greek Orthodox Metropolises launch new seasonal programs

Various Greek Orthodox Metropolises have commenced their new seasonal activities. In the Metropolis of Veria, Naousa, and Campania, Metropolitan Pantelaimon presided over a service at the Holy Monastery of Panagia Dovra to mark the start of the new catechetical year. The event included the blessing of catechists and study group leaders, alongside organizational discussions led by Archimandrite Pavlos Stamatas.

In the Metropolis of Demetrias, Metropolitan Ignatios held blessing ceremonies for the start of the new year for the local Church's choir and dance departments. During these ceremonies, the Metropolitan emphasized the importance of collective musical expression and the preservation of Greek tradition through traditional dance, noting that such activities foster community unity and human connection.
