Greek Panhellenic Road Cycling Championship 2026 Takes Place in Trikala

The 2026 Panhellenic Road Cycling Championship began on Friday, 26 June, in the town of Pyrgos and continued through Sunday, 28 June, in Trikala. The event was organized by the Hellenic Cycling Federation with support from the Thessaly Region, the Municipality of Pyrgos, and the Municipality of Trikala. About 300 top cyclists from across Greece competed in a three‑day program that included individual time trials, endurance races and a technical conference for judges. Municipal officials, including the Deputy Mayors for Sports and Finance, presented awards and honoured the Police Director of Trikala and local dignitaries.

The cycling club Rodilios of Rhodes also took part, earning notable results. Georgía Rompotou placed second in the women's elite individual time trial and fifth in the endurance race. Fellow club members Marília Fakazi, Kyriakos Papastamatakis and Stefanos Klo­kas also competed, highlighting the club’s strong presence at the national championship.
