Greek Parliament Launches AI‑Powered iKO App for MPs

The Greek Parliament has introduced a new mobile application called iKO, which provides lawmakers with access to bills, committee minutes, and other parliamentary information. The platform incorporates an AI digital assistant that can quickly retrieve data from its databases, schedule appointments with ministers and support MPs in preparing arguments and oversight activities.

A separate international survey by ManpowerGroup, covering 40,592 employers in 42 countries and including 520 Greek firms, shows that 53% of Greek employers believe artificial‑intelligence tools raise productivity. Half of respondents say AI already reduces time and costs through automation of routine tasks. Employers also cite skills development, higher wages and mentoring as important productivity drivers. The Bank of Greece notes that broader AI diffusion could lift total factor productivity, provided digital infrastructure and human‑capital investments keep pace.
