Greek Parliament to launch AI@Parliament platform for automation and searchable records
The Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence is rolling out two AI‑driven applications for the Hellenic Parliament. One will automate critical administrative tasks, including the official correspondence of the President’s Secretariat, using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI. The second, the AI@Parliament platform, will provide smart search and processing of parliamentary transcripts and audiovisual material, allowing users to locate speeches by member, topic or theme.
Project preparation is slated for completion by September 2026, with a phased launch of the new tools scheduled for October and November 2026. The initiative aims to cut bureaucracy, speed up document handling and improve access for citizens, journalists, researchers and parliamentary services. Minister Dimitris Papastergiou highlighted the move as a major step toward digital modernisation, stressing compliance with European data‑protection regulations.
