Greek pensions for September 2026 to be paid on August 26 and 28

The Social Insurance Institute (e‑EFKA) has announced that September 2026 pension benefits will be disbursed in two installments. The first payment, scheduled for Wednesday 26 August, will cover the main pensions of former non‑salaried funds such as OAE, OGA and ETAA, as well as pensions granted after the creation of EFKA under law 4387/2016 and all supplementary private‑sector pensions.

The second installment, set for Friday 28 August, will include the main pensions of former salaried funds (IKΑ‑ETAM, banks, OTE, DEH, TSEAPGSO, TSP‑HSAP, NAT, ETAT, ETAP‑MME) together with the main and supplementary pensions of public‑sector retirees. Payments are expected to appear in beneficiaries’ bank accounts the afternoon before the respective payment dates.
