Greece launches myAGRO platform for agricultural subsidies
The Greek government has launched the myAGRO platform, managed by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), to handle the 2026 Single Application for agricultural and livestock subsidies. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented the platform as a solution to historical mismanagement and corruption issues previously associated with OPEKEPE, stating the goal is to manage European resources with transparency and justice.
The new system integrates data from various public sources, including the Tax Registry, Land Registry, and Ministry of Rural Development, to automate checks and reduce errors. While the platform is now open for the 2026 application cycle and allowing corrections for the 2025 cycle until September 7, 2026, reports indicate the system is currently in a developmental phase with some functional issues.
Key deadlines include October 16, 2026, for final 2026 applications. Advance payments for applications submitted by September 15 are expected by October 31, while subsequent applications are slated for payment by November 30.
