Greek PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis unveils cabinet reshuffle and infrastructure push

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced a “mini‑reshuffle” of his government ahead of the upcoming election, bringing four figures into the cabinet: Makis Voridis, Andreas Loverdos, Kostas Tsiaras and Giannis Kefalogiannis. The move is presented as a way to strengthen his team with experienced allies before voters head to the polls.

In his weekly Facebook review, Mitsotakis also outlined a series of infrastructure and health initiatives funded since 2019. Highlights include the Skaramagas triple junction in western Attica, a newly completed road segment between Rovies and Ila in northern Euboea, the modernization of the Istiaia health centre with an artificial‑kidney unit, and the upgrade of dozens of other hospitals across the country. He stressed that these projects close decades‑long gaps and aim to improve mobility, public health and the national economy.
