Greek Police Chief Leads Saint Paraskevi Celebration at Police Children’s Camp

On July 25, 2026, the Greek Police Children’s Camp at Agios Andreas, Attica hosted a festive evening to mark the feast of Saint Paraskevi. The event featured a traditional bread‑sharing ceremony and a procession of the holy icon of the saint. Chief of the Hellenic Police, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Mallios, attended along with senior officers including Deputy Chiefs Panagiotis Poupos and Ioannis Skouras, and officials from the Police Support Directorate and the Ministry of Defence. The ceremony was overseen by Archimandrite Alexios Kourtesis, head of the Police Religious Service, and included participation from representatives of the Welfare Foundation and other police units.
