Greek police conduct multiple arrest operations in Thessaloniki and Achaia

Police in Greece have conducted a series of targeted operations and checkpoints across Thessaloniki and the Achaia region, resulting in multiple arrests for various offenses.

In Thessaloniki, ten individuals were arrested. These include four people for drug possession and disturbing the peace in a short-term rental apartment, one 47-year-old for theft and drugs following several store burglaries, and two 19-year-olds for the robbery of a 15-year-old. Additionally, one individual was apprehended for riding a stolen motorcycle.

In the Patra and Western Achaia areas, authorities handled several cases over a three-day period. Arrests included a man wanted on four outstanding convictions for domestic violence and physical harm, three men for possession of cocaine and cannabis, and two women suspected of shoplifting from a pharmacy using a distraction technique. Other incidents involved the exposure of a minor and a 12-year-old hospitalized following alcohol consumption.
