Greek police sergeant convicted of filming female colleagues
A Greek court has upheld a six-month suspended sentence for a police sergeant who secretly filmed female colleagues in a police station restroom. The court rejected the defendant's appeal to overturn the conviction or change the charges.
The incident dates back to December 2018 in Thessaly, where the sergeant used one of three mobile phones to record women while they were using the restroom. According to judicial records, the device was hidden in a plastic bag and attached to a radiator to capture images of female officers undressing. The surveillance was discovered after a female officer noticed the device and alerted the sergeant, who then admitted the phone belonged to him.
