Greek presenter Natalia Germanou condemns NGO donation scandal

Greek television presenter Natalia Germanou has expressed intense outrage regarding a scandal involving a non-governmental organization (NGO) accused of mismanaging donations intended for sick children. During the Alpha TV program “Kalýtera de ginetai,” Germanou condemned those allegedly exploiting the suffering of families and the health of children, stating that such individuals deserve a “special place in hell.”

During the discussion, commentator Thodoris Vgenis noted reports suggesting that approximately 88% of the collected donations may not have reached the intended recipients. Another participant, Panagiotis Rafailidis, criticized the exploitation of public sensitivity, arguing that such actions effectively make well-meaning citizens and those who promote the charity unintentional accomplices in the deception.
