Greek primary schools present community theatre shows

The primary school in N Potidaia staged a theatrical rendition of the folk tale “Η Γερακίνα και το πηγάδι” on 3 June, integrating music, AI‑generated video backdrops, Scratch programming and a beekeeping workshop that highlighted environmental stewardship. The event was part of the school’s broader “Common Garden” program and was supported by local volunteers and officials.

In Chania, the civic theatre group ΔΕΑτρόφιλοι performed the children’s play “Το Δέντρο που Ήθελε να Ταξιδέψει” at the Pneumatikos Centre on 6–7 June. The free performances, organised with the support of the Region of Crete, aimed to raise funds for the city’s Child Protection Department while promoting values such as friendship, solidarity and respect for nature.
