Greek Public Servants' Pension Fund loan platform opens September 9
On Wednesday 9 September 2026 at 11:00 am, the Greek Public Servants' Pension Fund (MTPY) will launch an online portal for loan applications. Applications can be submitted only through the MTpy website via the “Electronic Services” section, using Taxisnet credentials and by providing a mobile phone number and e‑mail address.
Eligibility is limited to fund members who have contributed for at least two years and are younger than 65 (specifically under 64 years 11 months 29 days). Approved loans are repaid in 36 equal monthly installments; if a borrower retires early, the remaining balance is deducted from the lump‑sum entitlement payable by e‑EFKA. Applicants must have tax clearance for receiving public‑sector payments, and the AADE authority handles loan issuance. The digital platform will stay active until the allocated funds are fully drawn and will then close automatically. Initial high demand may cause brief network delays.
The system automatically retrieves personal data from the Citizens Registry, so no separate personal‑data change request is required.
