Greek real estate market shows strong resilience, says Alpha CEO
Giannis Gkanos, chief executive of Alpha Real Estate Services, told shareholders that the Greek property market remains robust despite international geopolitical and economic uncertainties. He highlighted favourable indicators from the Bank of Greece, a sustained rise in property prices, steady demand, easing loan‑cost pressures and a buoyant Greek economy driven by tourism.
Gkanos noted that investors continue to view the market positively, citing attractive valuations and sector‑specific growth potential. He outlined optimistic expectations for the main segments: limited supply of modern office space and expected interest‑rate easing should keep rents high; retail benefits from recovering consumer spending and strong tourism; industrial and logistics demand is buoyed by increased need for modern facilities and Greece’s development as a transport hub; and hospitality enjoys a surge from tourism and ongoing hotel investments. Alpha Real Estate Services aims to further strengthen its position as a leading integrator of real‑estate management and services, focusing on maximising value for clients, partners, employees and shareholders.
