Greek singers Maria Korelli and Julia Kallimani celebrate weddings

Two Greek singers have recently celebrated their weddings.

Maria Korelli married Nikos Kyriakopoulos in Crete. The couple, who share a child, celebrated with a traditional ceremony where guests poured rice over the newlyweds. Korelli, who studied architecture before pursuing a music career in Athens, danced her first dance with her partner to the song ‘Maria, Maraki, Mario’ by Stelios Rokkos.

In Thessaloniki, singer Julia Kallimani married music producer Michalis Touratzidis. The ceremony took place at the Holy Temple of Agios Vasilios in Nea Elvetia. The couple, who have been together for four years and often collaborate professionally, held a private ceremony with strict security measures.
