Greek social agencies distribute €50 million in benefits
Between 15 and 19 June 2026, Greece’s e‑EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA) will pay a total of €50.393 million to 48,150 beneficiaries. The disbursements include €193,656 to 150 OAEE recipients, €15 million to 800 individuals as one‑off payments, €17 million to 28,000 unemployed for unemployment and related benefits, €1 million to 1,500 mothers for subsidised maternity leave, €15 million to 14,000 participants in employment‑programme subsidies, and €2.2 million to 3,700 recipients of public‑interest programmes. The payments are part of the regular funding schedule announced by the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance.
