Greek students win award at ST3dM 2026 robotics competition

Students from the 5th Experimental Primary School of Kilkis have secured third prize at the 7th Panhellenic ST3dM 2026 competition, organized by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The winning team, named “BRO”, competed in the “Sea and Sustainable Development” category with their project titled “The Sea Bin.”

The project features a specialized waste bin designed for beach environments to prevent littering. The design includes a wheeled base intended to navigate paths that are also accessible to individuals with special needs, utilizing a puzzle-like track system to ensure stability.
