Greek students win bronze at 58th International Chemistry Olympiad
A team of Greek students has secured a bronze medal and an honorable mention at the 58th International Chemistry Olympiad held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The competition, which consists of both theoretical and experimental components, requires participants to demonstrate mastery of university-level chemistry. The Greek team included students Konstantinos Giannoulas, Giorgos Pneumatikatos, and Christos Vlachos, while Dimitris Karageorgiou was noted as having already graduated.
The selection process for the national team begins with the Panhellenic Chemistry Competition organized by the Chemical Association of Greece. From there, 11 students undergo advanced training at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens before the final four are selected for international competition.
