Greek telecom OTE stays in FTSE4Good ESG index for 18th consecutive year

The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) has been confirmed for a further year in the FTSE4Good Emerging ESG index, marking its 18th consecutive inclusion after the June 2026 assessment by FTSE Russell. The continued listing underscores OTE’s ongoing integration of environmental, social and governance criteria into its corporate strategy.

In 2025 the group achieved carbon‑neutral operations for Scope 1 and 2 emissions, collected 25.5 tonnes of electronic waste through its recycling programme and supported digital‑skills training for 1.1 million people. OTE also aims for net‑zero emissions across its entire value chain by 2040. The company is additionally rated by other international ESG benchmarks such as ISS ESG Corporate Rating (Prime), MSCI ESG Ratings and CDP Climate Change.
