Greek television series Derby features Clelia Renesi

Actress Clelia Renesi has discussed her involvement in the ANT1 dramatic series ‘Derby’, noting that she performs her own songs for the role rather than using a playback singer. To prepare for the character, Renesi studied archival footage of classic Greek singers to capture a specific sense of poise and distance from the audience characteristic of previous eras.

In a separate development regarding the series, Zeta Makrypoulia has reportedly declined a guest role in the production. Meanwhile, production discussions are reportedly underway with actress Katerina Papoutsaki for a surprise role connected to the character Alekos.
