Greek theatre organizations launch new educational workshops
Various theatrical organizations in Greece are launching new educational workshops for children, adolescents, and adults for the upcoming season.
Theatrical Periplous has introduced two new workshops designed to foster self-expression and collective creativity. The children's program, titled ‘The Laughing Salamander’, caters to age groups 5–8 and 9–12, utilizing improvisation, music, and movement. The workshops are led by Maria Skordili, with additional sessions by Thomas Kantife and Maria Kantife.
Celebrating its tenth year, the State Theatre of Northern Greece (KTHBE) is offering artistic workshops for a wide range of ages, including infants, children, and adults. The program emphasizes inclusivity by providing free mixed classes for individuals with disabilities. These workshops focus on the creative process and personal discovery rather than a final performance, utilizing venues such as the Macedonian Studies Company, the Royal Theatre, and the Lazaristis Monastery.
