Greek U16 Basketball Team Departs for EuroBasket in Oradea

The Greece under‑16 men’s basketball team travelled on 4 August to Oradea, Romania, to take part in the EuroBasket U16 tournament scheduled for 7–15 August. The squad’s 12‑player roster features point guard Kōos Babis Christodoulou of Olympiacos among other talents drawn from clubs across the country.

Greece will compete in Group C alongside Spain, Israel and Georgia. The team’s opening match is against Spain on 7 August at 15:30, with the full group programme released by the Greek federation. All games will be streamed live on the FIBA YouTube channel.
