DEI launches free‑equipment solar PV solutions for homes and businesses
The Greek utility DEI introduced two new photovoltaic packages – DEI myEnergy SolarSmart for households and SolarSmartPro for enterprises. Both schemes provide solar panels and optional storage at zero upfront equipment cost, with a low activation fee and a fixed € per kWh price locked for ten years.
Eligible customers are those with annual electricity consumption over 8,500 kWh. DEI handles design, supply, installation, monitoring and full maintenance, including cleaning and insurance, eliminating technical risk for the user. The service guarantees at least a 20 % reduction in electricity bills for households and offers predictable operating expenses for businesses while lowering their carbon footprint. Real‑time production and consumption data are accessible through the DEI myEnergy Coach digital platform.
The programmes aim to accelerate the uptake of clean energy in Greece by removing the financial barrier of upfront solar investment.
