Greek Vice President Chatzidakis Leads Ministers' Tour of Western Macedonia

On Tuesday, Greece’s vice‑president Kostis Chatzidakis and six other ministers began a regional tour of Western Macedonia. The delegation visited the prefectures of Kozani, Kastoria, Florina and Grevena, meeting the regional governor George Amanatidis and local officials.

The itinerary included stops at the DEI high‑efficiency power plant, the hydrogen‑innovation hub in Ptolemaida, private investments such as Bakeshack and Zeykos, and a skill‑development centre in Kozani. The ministers, representing infrastructure, national economy, environment and other portfolios, held briefings on projects aimed at boosting regional growth before holding a joint press conference at the regional headquarters.
