Greek village festivals in Logga and Agios Dimitrios attract large crowds

The traditional summer festival in Logga, Kalambaka, organized by the Educational‑Beautification Association of Logga, drew a large crowd of residents and visitors. Performances included the dance troupe Maurelio, live music by local singers and instrumentalists, and speeches from community leaders such as President Sokratis Gkogkou and regional councilor Dinos Bardas.

In the village of Agios Dimitrios on Zakynthos, the Cultural Association presented the Zante speech “Two Sembros” by Giannis Stamiri. The event featured a full cast of local actors, traditional dance groups from nearby villages, and musical accompaniment by Nikos Skanakis and others. Both festivals were praised for keeping regional cultural heritage alive and for fostering community bonds.
