Greek volleyball and water polo clubs confirmed for 2026‑27 European competitions
Greek volleyball will field four men’s clubs – Panathinaikos (Dumbelous), PAOK, Milonas, OFI and Olympiacos – and five women’s clubs – Panathinaikos, ZAON, AEK, AO Thiras and Panionios – in European tournaments for the 2026/27 season. Olympiacos will also seek entry via the Balkan Cup. The women's teams will contest the CEV Challenge Cup, with a possible additional spot for Olympiacos if it wins the Balkan Cup.
In women’s water polo, the 2026‑27 league draw was held in Athens. Olympiacos opens against newly promoted Larissa on 26 September, while other match‑ups include Vouliagmeni vs. Ethnikos, Glyfada vs. Alimos and the NOV‑Olympiacos derby on matchday six. The schedule runs through November, with the top four proceeding to title playoffs, the next four to European qualification playoffs, and the bottom four to relegation battles.
