Greek Weather Forecast Calls for Slight Temperature Drop and Isolated Storms
The National Meteorological Service forecast for Saturday, 4 July, predicts a modest decline in temperatures across mainland Greece, with highs of 30‑35 °C on the islands and 34‑35 °C on the mainland. Increased cloud cover will bring local rain showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially over the Peloponnese, central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the Ionian Islands, and parts of the Aegean. The storms are expected to be brief and will weaken by evening.
Winds will blow from the north at 3‑5 on the Beaufort scale, reaching 6‑7 bft in coastal areas, with occasional gusts up to 7 bft. Elsewhere the weather will be mostly clear.
