Greek Women’s Football League prepares for season opening

The Greek Women’s Football League is preparing for its opening matchday. OFI's women's football team held a celebratory dinner to mark the start of the season ahead of their debut against NPS Volos in Volos on Sunday, September 20.

OFI President Giannis Dandalis addressed the players, noting that while it will be a difficult year requiring patience as the team is being built from the ground up, he urged the squad to remain united to maintain their position in the category. He welcomed several new players to the roster.

In another league fixture, PAOK is scheduled to face AEK in Athens on Saturday, September 19. PAOK, led by coach Thanasis Patrikidis, is aiming for its 21st championship title. The match will be broadcast on ERT Sport 2.
