Packers and Cardinals hold joint training camp practices
The Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals held their final joint training camp practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin, ahead of their preseason exhibition game. The session featured a unique storyline as Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur faced off against his brother, Arizona head coach Mike LaFleur.
Early in the practice, the Packers' offense showed significant momentum, with quarterback Jordan Love completing several long passes. The Packers' defense also made an early impact, including a pick-six by cornerback Brandon Cisse on a pass from Jacoby Brissett. However, the Cardinals reportedly improved midway through the session, gaining momentum on both sides of the ball.
As the preseason concludes, both teams are preparing to trim their rosters to 53 players. Key battles for the Packers include the competition for the backup quarterback position between veteran Tyrod Taylor and second-year player Kyle McCord, as well as roster spots for various defensive and offensive players.
