Green Bay Packers evaluate quarterback depth and Jordan Love's preseason performance

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love led a 12-play, 63-yard touchdown drive during a preseason game against the Denver Broncos. During that single drive, Love completed 5 of 7 passes for 56 yards and one touchdown. The offense utilized mirrored concepts, a strategy that allows the quarterback to read the defense pre-snap and post-snap to choose between identical routes on both sides of the field.

As the preseason continues, the Packers are also evaluating their backup quarterback depth. Following the departure of Malik Willis to the Dolphins, the team is assessing new options to support Love. The current competition includes veteran Tyrod Taylor and Kyle McCord. McCord, who has experience on the Eagles' practice squad, is noted for his athletic talent and arm strength despite having no regular-season NFL snaps.
