Green Bay Packers hold workouts for wide receivers

The Green Bay Packers are evaluating wide receiver options during training camp, recently hosting workouts for three players: Cornell Powell, Kobe Hudson, and Kisean Johnson.

Cornell Powell, a former fifth-round draft pick by the Kansas City Chiefs, brings significant experience to the workouts. Powell was part of the Chiefs' organization during their Super Bowl LVII and LVIII championship seasons and has spent the last two seasons playing in the UFL. During the 2026 UFL season, he recorded 34 receptions for 491 yards in nine games and was named the league's 2026 Sportsman of the Year.

The Packers' move to evaluate depth at the receiver position follows the recent signing of Kaden Prather and the waiving of Brenden Rice due to injury.
