Green Bay Packers offensive line faces injury concerns before Week 1
The Green Bay Packers face uncertainty regarding their offensive line ahead of their season opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Three of the five starters—right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele, left guard Aaron Banks, and left tackle Jordan Morgan—were limited in practice due to knee and ankle injuries.
Bako-Bewele, who signed an $88M extension last summer, expressed confidence in his ability to start and play the full game despite his limited training camp. If he is unable to play, the position would likely fall to second-round pick Anthony Belton.
In contrast, the Minnesota Vikings' starting offensive line reported being completely healthy heading into the matchup. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell noted that the team's preparation is intended to build confidence for what is expected to be a physical game against the Packers' defense.
