Green Bay Packers receivers dominate in 31-7 win over Chicago Bears
The Green Bay Packers secured a 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears, highlighted by a dominant performance from wide receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden. In the rivalry matchup, Watson recorded six receptions for 143 yards and two touchdowns, while Golden added six catches for 123 yards. Together with Tucker Kraft, the duo accounted for 330 receiving yards.
This performance marks only the 10th time in franchise history that two players have recorded at least 120 receiving yards in a single game, and the first instance since 2016. Through five weeks of the season, Watson is on pace for approximately 1,600 yards, while Golden is pacing for roughly 1,350 yards.
Despite the offensive explosion, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has urged caution regarding the team's status as a contender, noting that the team must maintain consistent performance to prove itself.
