Green Bay Packers face roster upheaval ahead of Buccaneers game
The Green Bay Packers are facing significant roster challenges heading into their Week 4 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team has struggled with offensive line performance, ranking last in the NFL in rushing yards per game and yards per carry. To address this, the organization recently signed veteran guards Kevin Zeitler, Laken Tomlinson, and Mekhi Becton.
Injuries have further complicated the roster. Defensive tackle Warren Brinson has been placed on injured reserve due to calf and groin injuries, sidelining him for at least four games. Additionally, starting guards Aaron Banks and Jacob Monk have been ruled out for the upcoming game due to knee, toe, and quadriceps issues. Wide receiver Jayden Reed is also sidelined following season-ending neck surgery.
On the defensive side, linebacker Edgerrin Cooper has cleared concussion protocol and been removed from the injury report. The Packers will travel to Tampa Bay with a 52-man roster, managing a depleted lineup as they attempt to improve upon their 1-2 season start.
