Green Game launches 14th edition for Italian schools

The 14th edition of Green Game has officially launched, providing a free educational program for Italian secondary schools focused on circular economy and waste sorting. The initiative is promoted by several national consortia responsible for packaging collection and recycling, including BIOREPACK, CIAL, COMIECO, COREPLA, COREVE, and RICREA.

The program aims to align community practices with the sustainability goals of the 2030 Agenda. It features a dual format: an in-person tour through Tuscany and a digital schedule for the rest of Italy. Students participate in educational sessions led by Peaktime trainers, followed by interactive classroom quiz challenges.

The competition will culminate in a National Final to determine the 2027 National Champion School. In the previous national final held in Rome, over 3,000 students participated, with the ISIS ‘Valceresio’ from Bisuschio emerging as the winner.
