Green Man festival sells out 2027 tickets

The Green Man festival has become the first major UK music festival to sell out its ticket allocation for 2027. The sale, which occurred over a recent weekend, marks the event's 25th anniversary.

Tickets sold out before any programming or lineup information was released. Organizers attributed the success to the festival's sponsorship-free ethos and the trust of its community. The event is scheduled to take place in the Black Mountains from August 19th to 22nd, with 25,000 attendees expected each day. The first lineup announcement is not expected until early 2027.

Green Man remains an independent festival with no commercial sponsors, offering sixteen stages featuring music, science, arts, comedy, and literature. The festival's charitable arm, the Green Man Trust, continues to work on artist development and addressing issues such as inequality, poverty, and the climate crisis.
