Green Party names Óscar Camacho as candidate for Mocorito

The Green Ecological Party of Mexico (PVEM) in Sinaloa has announced Óscar Camacho Rodríguez as its candidate for the municipal presidency of Mocorito. Ricardo Madrid Pérez, the party leader in Sinaloa, confirmed the selection, describing Camacho as a committed councilman with the necessary experience and territorial presence to lead the municipality.

Madrid Pérez stated that Camacho’s profile aligns with the political projects of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo and Imelda Castro Castro. While the formal internal process has not yet begun, the party leadership expressed confidence in Camacho’s ability to win the 2027 elections, whether through a political alliance or as an independent candidate. The party aims to use this candidacy to consolidate the ‘fourth transformation’ in the region.
