Green Poles Industry and E-Watts partner to localize water treatment in Saudi Arabia
Green Poles Industry has signed a partnership agreement with the Spanish company E-Watts to localize advanced water treatment and saltwater analysis technologies in Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made during the 25th WPC Energy conference in Riyadh.
E-Watts Chairman Mikel Blasi Roma announced that Saudi Arabia will serve as the company’s regional headquarters for operations across the Gulf and the Middle East. The partnership follows successful tests of E-Watts’ EDP technology conducted at the Wateera Institute in Jubail, which demonstrated effectiveness in treating Arabian Gulf water and the potential to reduce capital costs by up to 45% while maintaining environmental standards.
Dr. Saeed bin Jabran Al-Qahtani, Chairman of Green Poles Industry, stated that the company’s investments and partnerships are guided by Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that the company intends to establish facilities in the Eastern Province to support local content and serve regional markets. CEO Abdulrahman bin Saeed Al-Qahtani added that the partnership will focus on developing facilities, recruiting and training Saudi talent, and transferring technical knowledge to build local operational capabilities.
