VinFast VF 3 becomes best-selling electric vehicle in the Philippines
The VinFast VF 3, an electric mini-SUV, has become the best-selling battery electric vehicle (BEV) in the Philippines. According to a report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), the model recorded 2,906 units sold between January and August 2026.
Market analysts attribute the model's success, often referred to as the “Tiny Titan,” to its compact design and practical utility for first-time EV owners. Demand for the vehicle reportedly surged due to volatile domestic fuel prices and global energy uncertainty, driving consumers toward cost-efficient mobility options.
VinFast’s market position is supported by its “Ownership System,” which includes a Battery Subscription Policy to lower upfront costs and a Residual Value Guarantee Program. Additionally, the company offers a free charging program through March 31, 2029, and is actively expanding its charging networks and dealership presence across the country.
