Green SM launches electric taxi service in Palembang

Green SM has officially launched its all-electric taxi service in Palembang, Indonesia. This expansion marks the company’s second entry into the Sumatra region, following its previous launch in Bandar Lampung.

To commemorate the launch, the company introduced the ‘Green Your Move, Refresh Your City’ campaign. This initiative supports the Ministry of Environment/Environmental Control Agency (KLH/BPLH) and its ‘Ecosystem & Air Protection’ theme, aiming to encourage environmentally friendly transportation to improve urban air quality.

Green SM operates with a 100% electric vehicle fleet and has already expanded its presence to other major Indonesian cities, including Jakarta, Makassar, Surabaya, and Bali. The company aims to provide a zero-emission, modern transportation experience in Palembang, which serves as a significant trade and service hub with a population exceeding 1.8 million people.
