Green Transition Student Festival to launch at Hanoi University of Science and Technology

The Green Transition Student Festival is set to commence at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, featuring various activities including technology exploration, debates, and competitions designed for students.

A key component of the event is the ‘Green Voice’ competition, which provides a platform for students to discuss contemporary environmental issues. During the initial rounds, teams from different universities debated the feasibility of restricting gasoline motorcycles on university campuses to promote green transportation. One team proposed using campuses as pilot models for sustainable living, suggesting alternatives such as electric buses, public bicycles, and pedestrian zones.

Preparations for the festival include the installation of large LED screens and main stages. Sponsors, such as the electric motorcycle brand Yadea, are also participating by showcasing various electric models, including the Omee, which serves as a top prize for the ‘Green Passport’ program.
