Greenhouse growers to discuss energy future in Breda

Greenhouse entrepreneurs will gather at Peters Potplanten in Breda on November 12 to discuss the Sustainable Energy Area Approach for Greenhouse Horticulture. The meeting aims to provide growers with insights into developments regarding energy, grid capacity, and spatial planning that impact investment and future business plans.

Participants will address the availability and affordability of energy, which are critical factors for businesses looking to invest, grow, or transition. Organizations including ZLTO, Glastuinbouw Nederland, Greenports Nederland, and Rabobank will explore solutions for individual companies and the region as a whole.

Topics will include energy, CO2 capture, and regional approaches.
