Greenland mining companies report resource updates and field progress

Greenland-based mining entities have reported significant progress regarding resource estimation and field operations. Greenland Mines announced its first S-K 1300 Indicated Mineral Resource for the Sarfartoq Nd-Pr Rare Earths Project in southwest Greenland. Under a hybrid mining scenario, the project contains an Indicated Mineral Resource of 6.9 million tonnes at 1.60% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 5.3 million tonnes at 0.96% TREO.

In east Greenland, Greenland Resources has commenced a summer field program scheduled to run until September 20, 2026. The program involves 30 participants from Austria, Canada, and Greenland and focuses on advancing detailed engineering, optimizing mine-construction infrastructure, and supporting lender due diligence. The activities are supported by the Government of Canada and have received necessary approvals from the Greenland Ministry of Business and Mineral Resources.
