Greenpark residential quarter opens on former Blub site in Berlin

The Greenpark residential quarter in Berlin-Neukölln has officially opened on the former site of the Blub leisure center. The development consists of 860 apartments spread across 15 buildings, situated on a 30,000-square-meter plot in the Britz district.

Construction was completed rapidly, with the structural shells of the 15 buildings erected in approximately ten months. The project was managed by Bauwens, utilizing serial construction with prefabricated components, and built by Goldbeck. The development provides approximately 36,000 square meters of living space and 200 parking spaces.

A significant portion of the quarter, including 758 apartments, is owned by the real estate group Greystar and is being rented out as Momento Berlin. Residents have access to shared amenities totaling 1,452 square meters, including a cinema, roof terrace, fitness and yoga rooms, workspaces, and facilities for padel tennis and basketball.
